Hi, I’m Leesa Soulodre

— the Founder and Managing Partner of R3i Capital, a venture capital firm investing at the convergence of deep tech, frontier science, and sustainable impact.

My background is both unconventional and deeply technical. I began my journey in the Australian Army, where I gained early training in risk, systems thinking, and mission leadership. Since then, I’ve led innovation and transformation for 400+ multinationals and startups across 19 sectors in 5 continents.

I'm proud to be a pioneer in ESG investment, having worked with over 200 pension funds, asset managers, endowments, and foundations to shape responsible capital strategies. My academic journey spans 13 universities globally, including a Global Executive MBA from TRIUM (NYU Stern, HEC Paris, LSE). At R3i, our mission is to close the gender and capital gap in deep tech. Our portfolio companies are scaling in AI, climate tech, neurotech, quantum, and bio-convergence, and have collectively achieved over $14B in enterprise value, including sovereign and national infrastructure plays.
